Description

Chalet Binna in Zermatt was completed in November 2014 and is a lovely, free-standing, catered chalet with stunning Matterhorn views and a heated outdoor hot tub and sauna. You can ski back to the door under normal snow conditions and the modern design is complimented by a lovely ambience and layout.

The chalet is accessed from street level on the third floor where there is a ski and boot room. On the second floor is the large sitting room with fireplace and balcony from where to enjoy Matterhorn views. Adjacent open-plan kitchen and dining area are fully equipped. The large dining table offers seating for up to 9 people as well as a balcony with views onto the iconic Matterhorn.

There is a second lounge with TV, DVD and music system. The second floor comprises 3 bedrooms, each with their own bath and/or shower, WC and balcony. Two of the rooms are twin/doubles whilst the third has three, full-size bunkbeds (90cmx200cm) for 2 adults or 3 children.

The ground floor houses an extensive "wellness" area with outdoor hot tub, sauna, shower and equipped exercise area. On this level is a fourth en-suite double/twin bedroom. The bedrooms and main sitting room have cable TV, whilst the chalet has its own private WiFi network. All bath/shower rooms have hairdryers and there are safes in each bedroom.

The chefs are trained to a Michelin-star level and are fully flexible to your requirements and wishes, we offer an extensive breakfast with cereals, fruit juices, fruit salads, pastries, yoghurts, muesli, breads, cold cuts, jams, cheeses, eggs as well as hot options such as Eggs Benedict, omelettes, waffles, pancakes, or a full cooked breakfast.

We offer daily afternoon tea with fresh cake, biscuits and if required sandwiches. Supper is a 4 to 5-course fine dining affair but if prefer a simpler menu we can offer this too. The chalet is serviced daily with turn-down during dinner. There is an open bar throughout your stay.

Located next door is Binna’s sister chalet, Chalet Banja, which sleeps 6-8 guests.

Infos/Activities

We offer the most exclusive and luxurious ski chalets in Zermatt, the best catered or self-catered chalets with swimming pool, sauna, steam room/hammam and hot tub.

LUXURY SKI HOLIDAYS IN ZERMATT

From the moment you step off your Swiss-red train, catching sight of the cobbled streets and horses with sleighs patiently waiting for their rides, you know you are in a special place. Don't miss to stay in one of our exclusive luxury ski chalets in Zermatt, catered or self-catered with swimming pool, sauna and hot tub.

Silence is what strikes everybody most often. There are no cars in Zermatt! This immediately creates a welcoming atmosphere. The air is fresh and Alpine in Fairytale-like Zermatt. But more than this, you immediately feel a part of the village - it draws you in. Zermatt is probably the most romantic of all ski resorts.

Everyone is on foot, locals and visitors alike. The main street bustles happily with pedestrians. There are no impersonal tour buses belching out noise, fumes, and package tourists. Zermatt is no auto through-route, the train stops here. Every walk on from here is on foot or ski. For more than a century guests come here because they love the mountains. Walking through the cobbled paths of town, between the ancient sunburnt barns and chalets, catching the very first glimpse of iconic Matterhorn - this is the moment you know you have come to the right place. Zermatt, under the shadow of the Matterhorn, is one of Europe's best ski areas. Welcome to Switzerland's chocolate box ski resort Zermatt!

SKIING IN ZERMATT

Linked to Cervinia, just over the border in Italy, Zermatt offers 360 kilometres of pistes. Despite 52 lifts, there is often a bit of a queue to get up the mountain in the morning. Once there you will be spoiled for choice whatever your ability. Throw in a world class terrain park and pipe and you realize Zermatt is truly a top resort. Off the piste, Zermatt is traditional, slightly snobby and expensive. Nightlife is also very good. And: Zermatt is the Swiss Alpine village with the greatest variety of culinary experiences. The choice is huge: from traditional dishes to trendy creations to Michelin-starred establishments.
