Catered Chalet
Chalet Kilimanjaro is an extraordinary luxury stand-alone chalet in Zermatt. A big, beautiful addition to the 7 Heavens development. This beautifully positioned luxury village is acknowledged as one of the very finest in Europe, and Chalet Kilimanjaro stands out even in this company. Chalet Kilimanjaro can welcome up to twelve guests (eight adults, four children) into an 810sqm, four-floor Alpine paradise, that is a perfect luxurious family chalet. Its location is superb. New building is extremely rare in Zermatt, so 7 Heavens is a development to be celebrated indeed - a resort-center location with speedy access to the bright lights and the best slopes, which are a few minutes away via the Sunnegga funicular. An elevator leads you up to the South-West facing chalet. You can put your skis in the ski room, which is located of the entrance lounge and bar. A stunning Matterhorn view from your windows and balconies completes the perfect winter vacation home.
The unique chalet is a work of architectural and design innovation. Chalet Kilimanjaro's outstanding levels of furnishing, finish, and style are obvious as soon as you enter. The design is very classic: wood is the dominant material, luxury the defining ambience, while beautifully chosen antiques fit perfectly with the best modern furnishings, fabrics, and entertainment tech. The centerpiece space is the huge living and dining room, where, under double-height ceilings, sofas circle around a focal-point fireplace which separates the living from the dining area. A huge dining table is ideally for a delicious dinner prepared by your private chef. The kitchen can be closed for the maximum of privacy. Guests at Kilimanjaro are spoiled for entertainment choices. A night at the movies is yours in the privacy of the cinema room, with drinks served from the bar. When you need to unwind head to the spa and soak in the enormous hot tub before steaming away any remaining stress in a hammam or sauna.
Up to eight adults and four children can enjoy five bedrooms. A master suite on the second floor features a fireplace, a private living area and dressing rooms, and an en-suite bathroom. An en-suite double shares the floor and terrace access. There are two more double rooms (one a twin/double) and a four-bunk room for children on the floor below, all with terrace access. Apple TV, satellite and cable television, Wi-Fi throughout, and a connected sound system mean you can enjoy the latest entertainment wherever you are in Chalet Kilimanjaro.
Chalet Kilimanjaro is one of the most exciting new chalets in the Swiss Alps. The 7 Heaven Development also includes the luxurious chalets McKinley, Acongagua and Elbrus.
All of the 7 Heaven chalets share an impressive entrance leading into the lobby and central living room where guests are invited to relax, unwind and enjoy a drink from the bar. LUXURY SKI HOLIDAYS IN ZERMATT
From the moment you step off your Swiss-red train, catching sight of the cobbled streets and horses with sleighs patiently waiting for their rides, you know you are in a special place. Don't miss to stay in one of our exclusive luxury ski chalets in Zermatt, catered or self-catered with swimming pool, sauna and hot tub.
Silence is what strikes everybody most often. There are no cars in Zermatt! This immediately creates a welcoming atmosphere. The air is fresh and Alpine in Fairytale-like Zermatt. But more than this, you immediately feel a part of the village - it draws you in. Zermatt is probably the most romantic of all ski resorts.
Everyone is on foot, locals and visitors alike. The main street bustles happily with pedestrians. There are no impersonal tour buses belching out noise, fumes, and package tourists. Zermatt is no auto through-route, the train stops here. Every walk on from here is on foot or ski. For more than a century guests come here because they love the mountains. Walking through the cobbled paths of town, between the ancient sunburnt barns and chalets, catching the very first glimpse of iconic Matterhorn - this is the moment you know you have come to the right place. Zermatt, under the shadow of the Matterhorn, is one of Europe's best ski areas. Welcome to Switzerland's chocolate box ski resort Zermatt!
SKIING IN ZERMATT
Linked to Cervinia, just over the border in Italy, Zermatt offers 360 kilometres of pistes. Despite 52 lifts, there is often a bit of a queue to get up the mountain in the morning. Once there you will be spoiled for choice whatever your ability. Throw in a world class terrain park and pipe and you realize Zermatt is truly a top resort. Off the piste, Zermatt is traditional, slightly snobby and expensive. Nightlife is also very good. And: Zermatt is the Swiss Alpine village with the greatest variety of culinary experiences. The choice is huge: from traditional dishes to trendy creations to Michelin-starred establishments.
