A large south-facing terrace, additional west-facing balcony and extensive glazing make the most of the mountain setting, while shops and restaurants are only around one minute away.
At the heart of the apartment is a spacious open-plan living and dining area, enhanced by exceptionally high ceilings, exposed timber and wide windows that bring abundant natural light into the room. A wood-burning feature fireplace creates a warm focal point for relaxed evenings after skiing, while comfortable contemporary furnishings give the space a refined yet welcoming character. The south-facing terrace extends the living area outdoors and provides a wonderful setting for morning coffee, an afternoon in the winter sun or an evening drink with the Matterhorn as a backdrop. A second west-facing balcony adds further outdoor space and another perspective over the surrounding village and mountains. Warm larch wood, clean architectural lines and carefully selected furnishings create a fresh Alpine atmosphere while retaining the comfort and intimacy of a private mountain home.
Three double bedrooms provide calm and private accommodation for families or friends travelling together. The master bedroom features an en-suite bathroom with both bathtub and shower, while the other two bedrooms can be configured as doubles or Austrian twins and each has its own en-suite shower room. Soft textures, natural materials and modern finishes continue the understated design found throughout the penthouse, creating restful spaces to retreat to at the end of the day.
Practical facilities include private laundry with separate washing machine and dryer, elevator access and a shared ski room within the building. The Matterhorn Express gondola can be reached in approximately seven minutes on foot, while the Gornergrat Railway is around six minutes away.
