Description

Lyskamm Lodge is a refined luxury ski chalet in Zermatt, offering contemporary, self-catered accommodation for up to nine guests in a prime ski location. This four-bedroom family chalet blends clean, modern lines with warm timber finishes and thoughtful detailing, providing an elegant base for a ski holiday in the Swiss Alps. Located just 100 metres from the Klein Matterhorn Express and around a twelve-minute walk from Zermatt’s high street, the lodge places guests within easy reach of world-class skiing, fine dining and the village’s lively après-ski scene.

The third floor is devoted to an airy open-plan living, dining and kitchen area where light pours through large windows framing Matterhorn views. High sloping wooden ceilings and soft, contemporary furnishings create a welcoming atmosphere to return to after a day on the slopes. Sink into designer sofas with a cup of hot chocolate or raise a glass of champagne before dinner. The fully equipped kitchen with generous work surfaces and a dining table for the group makes self-catering effortless and sociable, while the balcony invites evening conversation beneath a starlit sky.

Above the main living area a mezzanine snug provides a cosy TV spot for family film nights, while the lower floors house four beautifully appointed double/twin bedrooms, each finished in calm, natural tones. Rooms can be arranged as twins to suit groups of friends or families, and each benefits from either an en-suite bathroom or a private shower room. A sofa bed on the mezzanine offers flexibility for a ninth guest. Plush bedding, underfloor heating and considered storage ensure restful nights and an effortless morning routine before skiing resumes.

Leisure at Lyskamm Lodge is designed for conviviality: a comfortable lounge and bar area provide space for pre-dinner drinks, board games or quiet conversation. Guests also enjoy access to an exceptional shared wellness suite within the building. The spa facilities at this luxury chalet in Zermatt include an indoor swimming pool with swim jets, a sauna, steam room and an outdoor Jacuzzi for soothing soaks beneath clear mountain skies. A massage room and a compact fitness area round out the wellness offering, allowing guests to recover and recharge between runs.

Practical comforts are handled with care: lift access serves every floor, a communal ski room with heated boot racks keeps equipment ready each morning, and a cosy lobby with fireplace offers a welcoming arrival. High-speed WiFi and laundry facilities add convenience, and secure parking is available nearby.

For larger parties the lodge can be booked together with the neighbouring Dufourspitz Lodge in Zermatt - sleeps ten guests - to extend capacity and create an extensive group retreat. The chalet also offers Horu Lodge (8 guests), Tête Blanche Lodge (4+1), and two one-bedroom suites: El Alamein (2+1) and Gerwetsch (2), providing a wonderful extension to the overall accommodation capacity. Combining refined design, superb location and generous shared facilities, Lyskamm Lodge is an elegant alpine holiday home where each day of your ski break concludes in comfort and style.
