Ski in/Ski out. The wonderful luxury family apartment Elena is nestled in the peaceful enclave of Winkelmatten in Zermatt. Occupying the ground floor of Chalet Shalimar, Apartment Elena is the perfect family chalet accommodation sleeping eight people in four spacious bedrooms.
All of the bedrooms can be made up as twin or double bedrooms and all have en-suite bathrooms with separate showers. Equipped with the finest Egyptian cotton linen, bathrobes, slippers, and luxury bathroom products, this sophisticated apartment provides the perfect alpine retreat. It is extremely spacious as it is two apartments seamlessly joined together with an interconnecting door. There are two open plan living and dining rooms, both with floor to ceiling sliding doors, which open out onto the lovely garden and terrace.
Elena is nestled in the enclave of Winkelmatten, perfectly positioned for keen skiers as you can ski to and from the property (snow permitting). The atmospheric centre of Zermatt is a 15-minute scenic walk away or a short ride in an electric taxi.
At the heart of Chalet Shalimar is the wellness area and spa. Elena shares these facilities with the Penthouse Apartment Alex, which sleeps 12 people and occupies the two top floors of the chalet. The 2 apartments can accommodate 20 guests. There is a sauna, hammam, massage room, and a wonderful indoor swimming pool.

SKIING IN ZERMATT
Linked to Cervinia, just over the border in Italy, Zermatt offers 360 kilometres of pistes. Despite 52 lifts, there is often a bit of a queue to get up the mountain in the morning.
