Chalet Aline / Verbier
Description
Verbier is one of the world’s most exciting ski resorts, and it deserves the very best luxury chalets. Chalet Aline delivers the quality and luxury that live up to its superb - secluded but central - location with wonderful spa and entertainment facilities alongside design that is delivered with real respect to the best Alpine traditions. This substantial property is suitable for families and larger groups with accommodation for eight guests in four bedrooms on three floors. The setting of Chalet Aline is a work of art in its own right. The peaks of the Combin range are always in view, and the south-facing balconies on every story mean that the sunlight flows in during the day.
This is a beautifully private location, but it is far from out of the way with the Les Esserts lift a 4-minute walk away; the Médran lifts are a few minutes’ drive, and the village’s center is 3-minutes by car. The exterior of Chalet Aline is classically Alpine, and this feel is continued in the superb interiors of this wood-and-stone masterpiece. That means wooden beams, stone fireplaces, furs and Alpine-inspired furniture. A superb spa facility helps elevate this chalet to the very highest levels of ski accommodation. Walking into this extraordinary building takes you straight into its stand-out main living and dining area.
In typical chalet style, it’s a large open-plan space and pays respect to the traditions of Alpine living with its aged wood, eye-catching stone details and traditionally minded furniture. There’s plenty of room to relax and find your own space or spend time with friends and family here. The fireplace provides a beautiful focal point, while your eyes will always be drawn to the jaw-dropping views that floor-to-ceiling windows reveal. Beyond, lies a big balcony that’s an equally inviting space on a summer’s night or a winter morning – the perfect place for a romantic drink under the starlight, or morning coffee in the sun. Your whole adult party can dine together on a big, beautiful dining table.
There are plenty of other ways to enjoy your time in Chalet Aline. A hammam - a north African-style steam room - is at the heart of the wellness offering. From the 21st century come Apple TV, cable channels, TV and DVD – including a lovely separate TV room - the latest integrated sound system throughout the chalet. WiFi is standard these days, of course. The bedrooms are superlative. A master suite dominates the top floor, guaranteeing fantastic vistas from its private balcony. It has an en-suite bathroom plus a stand-alone shower. Next door is a bunk room - with shower - perfect for keeping younger kids close at hand.
There are two further double bedrooms on the ground floor, both with terrace and garden access, and sharing a bathroom. All are traditionally welcoming, with the very best furnishings, linen, and bathroom products. The practicalities of a winter holiday are well taken care of with on-ski access to a well-equipped boot room with lots of storage and an outdoor parking space. This spacious, traditional and well-thought-out chalet is a wonderful way to get to know Verbier and is likely to be in high demand this winter.

Infos/Activities
We offer the most luxurious ski chalets in Verbier (Switzerland) - the finest catered and self-catered luxury ski chalets with bespoke service. Many luxury chalets in the ski resort are ski in/ski out and offer spa facilities with swimming pool, hot tub, sauna and hammam. The ski resort Verbier is located on a bright and sunny plateau above the picturesque valley "Val de Bagnes" in the Swiss Alps. With its chalet-style buildings, Verbier is a large Alpine village which offers all amenities that makes your holiday a success.
LUXURY SKI HOLIDAYS IN VERBIER
Ski resort Verbier offers lots of activities, such as dog sledding, paragliding and climbing. Public spas are popular in Verbier, just to relax, gathering with friends or families with their children after skiing. You can also go ice skating in Verbier as the Swiss winter sports village comes with an ice rink. We offer a selection of luxury chalets and holiday apartments in the centre where the Place Blanche development is situated. Perfect for those who prefer to be in the middle of the vibrant city with bars, shops and restaurants. Our larger luxury family chalets are mostly located in Patier, Sonalon, Savoleyres and in the Swedish Quarter or near the nursery slopes of Le Rouge.
With more than one million visitors coming to the Swiss Alps each year to ski or just enjoy the great views, summer vacations in this charming Swiss resort are extremely varied too. Verbier offers internationally renowned events all year round, and has a variety of sporting activities on offer during the summer months: climbing and mountaineering, mountain biking, hiking, tennis and golf. The high altitude Verbier Festival - held in July - brings together the stars of classical music against the impressive backdrop of the Swiss Alps. From pure relaxation to an adrenaline rush: Verbier simply has something for everyone in its books!
RESTAURANTS & BARS IN VERBIER
When it comes to dining Verbier offers a multitude of opportunities - from family places where you can eat pizza and pasta to gourmet Michelin-starred restaurants. Visitors shouldn't miss to make a reservation at Chez Dany, one of the few typical Alpine restaurants on the ski slopes in Verbier with probably the most beautiful sun terrace with a great view. At 1,722m altitude the perfect place for a lunch break or to end a day of skiing with local food and delicious Valais wines. A must-do of course is La Rouge with its two sun-drenched outdoor terraces. At an altitude of 1,550m directly between the two main lift stations, Médran and Savoleyres - at the foot of the Le Rouge run - this infamous venue has ski in/ski out links to the main ski domain plus 360 degree panoramic views from Col des Mines, to the Combins, the Dents du midi, the glacier du Trient and Pierre Avoi. An absolute hot spot for après-ski! We also recommend to book a table at La Table d’Adrien restaurant where chef Sebastiano Lombardi - in winter and summer - presents a gastronomic offer inspired by the mountain environment and the proximity of lakes and rivers between Valais, Italy and France. At La Cordée restaurant, chef Romain Maillot - with his origins from the island of La Réunion - creates dishes that are often surprising, always elegant and drenched in excellence - an exciting fusion of influences from cuisines around the world. Also worth visiting are W Kitchen and, unique in Verbier, Eat-Hola Tapas Bar in the village centre on Rue de Médran.
SKIING IN VERBIER
At an altitude of 1,500m holidaymakers are able to see the eternal snows of the Combins and even the Mont Blanc Massif in France. The popular luxury ski resort Verbier - situated in the middle of one of Europe's largest skiing areas, "Les 4 Vallées" (connecting Verbier, Nendaz, Veysonnaz, Thyon und La Tzoumaz) - offers the opportunity to explore 412km of daily groomed downhill runs for enthusiasts of all levels.
The glacier runs stay open during summer too. Verbier's main lift station is Médran in the centre of the ski resort. To get up to 2,200m to Les Ruinettes a 6-person telecabine is available. There is also a 30-person telecabine that brings you up to Attelas at an altitude of 2,723m.
