Luxury ski holiday apartment Basalte is a new self-catered apartment in the renowned Swiss ski vacation resort Verbier. Basalte boasts a perfect location on a quiet road in the village centre just below the main Médran ski lift. The lift is a 2-minutes walk.

The vast living main living area with spacious open-plan living and dining room opens onto a beautiful south-facing balcony with panoramic mountain views, which can be enjoyed by its guests from the comfort of the private hot tub.

Holiday apartment Basalte offers four stylish bedrooms, all of which have their own en-suite bath or shower rooms. There are three comfortable king-sized bedrooms and the fourth is a bespoke quad bunk room which can sleep up to four children.

Decorated in a contemporary and simple Alpine style, with a fully equipped modern kitchen, private ski room and laundry facilities, Basalte makes the perfect, convenient chalet for families looking to be a little self-sufficient. The vacation chalet is offered on a self-catered basis throughout the season.

RESTAURANTS & BARS IN VERBIER

When it comes to dining Verbier offers a multitude of opportunities - from family places where you can eat pizza and pasta to gourmet Michelin-starred restaurants. Visitors shouldn't miss to make a reservation at Chez Dany, one of the few typical Alpine restaurants on the ski slopes in Verbier with probably the most beautiful sun terrace with a great view. At 1,722m altitude the perfect place for a lunch break or to end a day of skiing with local food and delicious Valais wines. A must-do of course is La Rouge with its two sun-drenched outdoor terraces. At an altitude of 1,550m directly between the two main lift stations, Médran and Savoleyres - at the foot of the Le Rouge run - this infamous venue has ski in/ski out links to the main ski domain plus 360 degree panoramic views from Col des Mines, to the Combins, the Dents du midi, the glacier du Trient and Pierre Avoi. An absolute hot spot for après-ski! We also recommend to book a table at La Table d’Adrien restaurant where chef Sebastiano Lombardi - in winter and summer - presents a gastronomic offer inspired by the mountain environment and the proximity of lakes and rivers between Valais, Italy and France. At La Cordée restaurant, chef Romain Maillot - with his origins from the island of La Réunion - creates dishes that are often surprising, always elegant and drenched in excellence - an exciting fusion of influences from cuisines around the world. Also worth visiting are W Kitchen and, unique in Verbier, Eat-Hola Tapas Bar in the village centre on Rue de Médran.

SKIING IN VERBIER

At an altitude of 1,500m holidaymakers are able to see the eternal snows of the Combins and even the Mont Blanc Massif in France. The popular luxury ski resort Verbier - situated in the middle of one of Europe's largest skiing areas, "Les 4 Vallées" (connecting Verbier, Nendaz, Veysonnaz, Thyon und La Tzoumaz) - offers the opportunity to explore 412km of daily groomed downhill runs for enthusiasts of all levels.

The glacier runs stay open during summer too. Verbier's main lift station is Médran in the centre of the ski resort. To get up to 2,200m to Les Ruinettes a 6-person telecabine is available. There is also a 30-person telecabine that brings you up to Attelas at an altitude of 2,723m.
