Chalet Seven / Crans Montana
Pool: 1
Description
Set out over five splendid floors chalet seven sits a couple of minutes drive above the village centre of Crans-sur-Sierre and can sleep up to 24 adults in 12 stylish en-suite bedrooms. Even before the you enter this stylish residence, you are taken by its unique exterior. The exquisite silver wood timber has been sourced from a 200-year-old Austrian farm house, while the dry stone walls are crafted from locally sourced grey crystal stone. Entering the chalet from its large private car park on the ground floor, there is a ski and boot room to comfortably house all the group’s gear before sitting down to an apres ski cocktail in the Oryx bar and lounge area.
This is the first of the chalet’s two communal leisure areas. With several alcoves lit in ambient light, and a dedicated cigar smoking room, this is the perfect space to unwind in. The bar opens onto an open-plan dining room with on-site steak and raclette bar and just a few steps down from the bar and dining area, you’ll find the sunken lounge, with its elliptical bronze fireplace and Japanese red leather sofas. Here you can relax and unwind with a drink, a book from the chalet’s extensive library or just chat with friends.
Breakfast and dinner can take place here on this floor, or in the lower ground floor where guests can receive a full banquet experience. Completing the zen feel of the main entry level floor is a large spa with 10m swimming pool, hammam, a sauna with dedicated snow pit and a treatment room for any beauty therapies, massage therapies or physiotherapy work required. The lower ground floor is an extension of the communal living space with a gym, wine cellar, cinema, banquet hall and games room. Sink into sumptuous seating in front of the cinematic large screen to enjoy a film from the chalet’s extensive in-house library or enjoy one of the entertainment options in the games room.
Selected by a specialist sommelier, the chalet’s extensive wine cellar boasts some of the finest vintages from around the world. Whatever your preference, our exemplary collection has been carefully chosen to complement the locally sourced gourmet menu prepared by the chef. The top three floors of the chalet are laid out as four spacious three-bedroom apartments. Each apartment is 160sqm with three en-suite bedrooms, a guest toilet and a communal living area. They are spacious and opulent with stylish antique and vintage furniture.
Situated on the first floor are the chalet’s gold apartments. With a rich colour palette, the two apartments feature impressive bronze fireplaces and linen-covered walls. Hand-waxed oak floors flow throughout the apartments to provide an organic transition from living spaces to bedrooms. Above these, on the top two floors of the chalet are the two monochrome apartments featuring contemporary silver, white and pewter colour palettes. Complemented by silver wood and white polished plaster, the furnishings create a light and airy tone, which echo the snowy landscape of the 1,000 peaks.
The four additional living rooms and the multitude of deck and terrace access options that these four apartments provide give plenty of space for individuals or smaller groups to break off and find their own privacy.

Infos/Activities
We offer some exclusive luxury ski chalets in Crans-Montana which is an up market ski resort with wonderful panoramic views from the Matterhorn to Mont Blanc. The sunniest ski resort in Switzerland, Crans-Montana is an all year round resort with 140km of skiing, more than 190 shops and 90 restaurants, a championship 18-hole golf course, a variety of entertainment and a vibrant nightlife. Crans-Montana has well groomed pistes, good off-piste and a wide range of other snowsports including cross-country skiing, ski touring, snowshoeing, ice-skating and curling. Around 50 percent of winter guests come to Crans-Montana - the ski resort with five lakes, more than 2,300 hours of sunshine per year and surrounded by over 30 peaks of 3,000 metres or more - for reasons other than skiing and boarding. That’s because so many guests are property owners who come to enjoy the 65km of paths for walking (280km in summer), and to relax in the mountains amid stunning scenery.
Enjoy more than 190 shops and boutiques for retail therapy and choose from around 90 restaurants - two of which are Michelin-starred establishments - for dining out among friends. There’s also a casino and a cinema. The Crans-Montana ski area breaks down into four sectors – Crans, Montana, Violettes and Aminona, each adequately served by a gondola, supporting chairlifts and button lifts. The new quad-chairlift replacing the Cry-d’Er cable car is reputedly 20% faster and moves more people per hour to the top of Bellalui (2,528m). Crans-Montana has many mountain restaurants ranging from hidden away mountain huts to self-service eateries. Some of them have limited seating indoors and are reliant on good weather to pack the sun terraces.
