With a footprint of 320sqm and just a stone's throw from the nearest piste and ski lifts, luxury chalet Le Orlov, one of three private Koh-I Nor ski chalets, can accommodate 8-10 people in 5 large bedrooms. The chalet is entirely dedicated to your well-being. A private lift leads to the four levels of this luxurious chalet. You will enjoy each detail and the comfort of the different spaces.
Chalet Le Orlov is located in the French holiday resort Val Thorens, at 2300m altitude the Alps highest ski resort, and offers perfect conditions for your stay. With four suites, all with private bathrooms and a children's bunk room, skiing chalet Le Orlov can perfectly welcome families or a group of friends.
The top floor in Chalet Le Orlov, named for the world famous diamond once in the possession of Tsarina Catherine the Great, hosts a modern and well-equipped kitchen where you can share a gourmet moment prepared by yourself or - on request - by a private chef. The kitchen opens onto a spacious living room which combines dining room and lounge.
Bathed in natural light, due to French bay windows, this is a place of warmth and hospitality. Mingle around the crackling fire of the central fireplace, comfortably tucked into the sofas. From the large South-oriented balcony, the view of snowy Val Thorens, the vast ski area of the 3 Valleys and the surrounding mountains is simply breathtaking.
There is also a home cinema and a 40sqm private Spa and wellness area with sauna, hammam and two fitness rooms on the first floor. In fact, holiday chalet Orlov has something for all ages and tastes.
For larger groups, Chalet Le Orlov can be rented along with Chalet Le Cullinan and Chalet Le Golden Jubilee to easily accommodate up to 34 people.

Val Thorens, the highest ski town in Europe, sits at an altitude of 2300m in the Tarentaise Valley. It is located in the commune of Saint-Martin-de-Belleville in the Savoie département of the French Alps. LUXURY SKI HOLIDAYS IN VAL THORENS
Val Thorens is now one of the most successful resorts in the Alps. Given the high altitude of Val Thorens and the Glacier de Péclet the often large volume of snow means that the resort is usually open from mid-November until early May. The highest ski-able peaks are Pointe du Bouchet (3220m) and Cime de Caron (3200m), with its cable car of the same name, one of the biggest in the world with a capacity of 150+1 passengers.
Many of the slopes in Val Thorens face north and north-west, providing good snow conditions. This means that the slopes are not as sunny, so the resort tends to attract a crowd more interested in skiing than "terracing". However, the resort itself faces south, and many people enjoy sitting outside in the sunshine when they have finished skiing. Val Thorens has a total of 68 marked runs, and several terrain parks. The main snow park sees top level freestyle competitions every winter as it hosts a stage of the national SFR Slopestyle Tour, and the ski cross arena is frequently visited by the FIS Skier X World Cup. Jean-Fred Chapuis, who won the Skier X event at the 2014 Olympics in Sochi, hails from Val Thorens and the ski cross track is named after him.
Val Thorens is the most visited international ski resort in France: more than 70% of its visitors are foreigners. While one will find people from all over the world in Val Thorens, British, Scandinavian, Belgian, Dutch and German tourists make up the majority.
