Chalet Sarire is a spacious luxury ski chalet in Val d’Isère for up to sixteen guests, offering seven bedrooms in the traditional village of Le Fornet. Set just 200 metres from the lift, this contemporary Alpine holiday home combines a peaceful village atmosphere with excellent access to the ski area. Generous interiors, an extensive outdoor terrace and flexible family accommodation make Sarire particularly well suited to larger families and groups seeking comfort, privacy and easy access to the slopes.
The main living floor is designed around an impressive open-plan space extending approximately twenty metres. Light grey Vanoise stone, mountain larch and contemporary artwork give the chalet a refined Alpine character, while a large fireplace surrounded by deep grey sofas creates a natural gathering point after skiing. The dining area and open kitchen sit within the same generous space, providing an inviting setting for catered dinners and relaxed evenings together. Large doors lead directly onto the extensive wooden terrace overlooking the surrounding mountain landscape.
Outside, a cedar wood hot tub offers a peaceful place to unwind while enjoying panoramic views, with ibex or chamois occasionally visible on the surrounding slopes. The chalet is offered on a catered basis, while the fully equipped kitchen remains available for snacks and drinks throughout the stay. A large dining table comfortably brings the group together for long meals and fine wines. An iMac workstation provides a practical place for guests who need to work, while a flat-screen television offers easy evening entertainment.
Seven bedrooms provide accommodation for sixteen guests across the main chalet and separate ground-floor annexe. The main chalet includes five bedrooms, with flexible double or twin configurations and several rooms benefiting from private balconies and spacious bathrooms. One family suite also includes adult-sized bunk beds and sleeps four guests. The separate annexe has its own entrance, living area and kitchenette, together with two further bedrooms and a shared bathroom, making it particularly useful for families, teenagers or guests who appreciate additional privacy.
Practical facilities include heated ski rooms with equipment storage and boot warmers, laundry facilities and two covered parking spaces. From Le Fornet, skiers enjoy excellent access to the wider Val d’Isère ski area, including long descents from the glacier and renowned off-piste terrain around Point Pers and Col Pers. Val d'Isère’s charming village is a colorful winter sports haven, originally founded as a farming community centuries ago. Today, the village is home to around 1,800 residents, but during winter, this number swells to more than 30,000, thanks to the influx of skiers and visitors. The western and central parts of the village are easily recognizable for their classic chalet-style architecture, while the eastern part features modern high-rise buildings.
Historically significant, Val d'Isère received parish rights in 1637, and the parish church, built in 1664, remains a landmark at the heart of the village. The resort is set at the base of a V-shaped valley and is accessible via La Daille, where you’ll pass by the Lac du Chevril.
