Chalet Ottawa is a luxury ski in/ski out chalet in Val d'Isère. Benefitting from a great location in the peaceful neighborhood of Les Carats, Ottawa has direct access via the black Face de Bellevarde run and the Bellevarde Express ski lift is within easy reach (only 100 m). On five floors, the chalet offers plenty of space for a larger group or families who want to spend their ski holiday together and prefer a comfortable base for access to the slopes.
Due to lots of expansive openings on the mountain chalet's various levels, the entire interior radiates a sense of lightness, luminosity and roominess. The main living space is made up of a double living room with fireplace and views of the ski domain, a dining area, a large family kitchen and an adjoining professional kitchen for your private chef. Sliding doors lead out onto the terrace from where you can watch the first skiers hit the white powder while having a morning coffee.
The total of six bedrooms in Chalet Ottawa can accommodate 10 adults and four children and are arranged over three floors. All of the bedrooms have en-suite facilities with bathrooms or showers and three have additional access to the terrace. Of particular note being the fact that the family suite is connected to the children's bunk room - meaning you can always keep an eye on the younger ones in the group. With the exception of the kids dormitory, all bedrooms have double King-size beds and dressing areas or large wardrobes.
Chalet Ottawa also offers a number of amenities to ensure that you can enjoy your winter holiday fit and to the fullest. First of all, there is the delightful spa. While you take a few laps in the swimming pool, a large arched window allows to gaze at the snowy landscape. Warm up in the hammam at the end of a day outdoors. Refresh yourself afterwards under the Italian shower. If you feel the need for a massage, no problem. The spa naturally has a massage room. End your visit to the wellness area and snuggle up in the armchairs arranged by the pool.
A small study is available for holidaymakers who need to work during their time off. Once the paperwork is done, the cinema room awaits, where you can end the evening together in a relaxed atmosphere watching a blockbuster over nibbles and drinks. Of course there is also a ski room with enough space for winter clothes and ski equipment. For guests of ski chalet Ottawa travelling by car, parking is available in the garage or outside. And all floors are accessible by lift, which adds to the comfort of this wintry home away from home.
In summary, Ottawa luxury ski chalet is the perfect base for an authentic stay in the midst of the French Alpine scenery and at the foot of the slopes.

LUXURY SKI HOLIDAYS IN VAL D'ISÈRE
Val d'Isère’s charming village is a colorful winter sports haven, originally founded as a farming community centuries ago. Today, the village is home to around 1,800 residents, but during winter, this number swells to more than 30,000, thanks to the influx of skiers and visitors. The western and central parts of the village are easily recognizable for their classic chalet-style architecture, while the eastern part features modern high-rise buildings.
Historically significant, Val d'Isère received parish rights in 1637, and the parish church, built in 1664, remains a landmark at the heart of the village. Together with the nearby resort of Tignes, Val d'Isère is part of the Espace Killy, an area famously dubbed the "Most Beautiful Ski Area in the World". The resort is set at the base of a V-shaped valley and is accessible via La Daille, where you’ll pass by the Lac du Chevril. Beneath the lake lies the old town of Tignes, which was submerged in 1952 to create the new dam.
One of the highlights of a Val d'Isère ski holiday is the après-ski experience, particularly at Folie Douce. Located at the top of the ski slopes, it’s renowned for its vibrant après-ski parties. A ski down from the venue, directly into the village, is an exciting way to end your day, although it’s only suitable for strong intermediates and above due to its steepness.
SKIING IN VAL D'ISÈRE
Val d'Isère is a paradise for skiers of all levels, offering a mix of groomed slopes and backcountry skiing. The resort is known for its challenging slopes, making it a favorite among experienced skiers and powder addicts. Val d'Isère is part of the Espace Killy ski area, which links Val d'Isère and Tignes, offering over 300km of ski slopes. The Pissaillas Glacier offers summer skiing, and the area is serviced by high-capacity gondolas, chairlifts, and even a funicular (the Funival), which takes you from La Daille to the top of Bellevarde.
Whether you’re looking for easy, wide pistes or steep, off-piste terrain, Val d'Isère caters to all types of skiers. The main lifts and gondolas offer convenient access to the area’s best slopes, and the ski area is equipped with four snow parks and extensive cross-country trails.
