Chalet-Apartment Atacama is located in the picturesque village of Le Fornet, in the same building as its sister chalet, Les Sources Val d’Isère. This luxurious apartment accommodates up to ten guests across four stylish bedrooms. Conveniently situated just a five-minute walk from the slopes and the village centre, it offers both comfort and easy access to world-class skiing.
Chalet Atacama is spread over two floors and features a beautiful terrace overlooking the stunning scenery, including breathtaking views of the Isère River. The ground floor welcomes guests with an entrance hall leading into a spacious open-plan living and dining area, complete with a cosy fireplace and balconies. The same floor houses two en-suite bedrooms with shower rooms, balconies, and double beds, as well as one en-suite bedroom with a shower room, WC, and two sets of bunk beds - ideal for families or groups with children. The first floor is dedicated to the luxurious master suite, featuring an en-suite shower room, WC, a sauna, a jacuzzi bath, and a king-size bed. This serene space is perfect for soothing tired muscles after an exhilarating day on the slopes. All bedrooms are beautifully furnished and decorated, with modern en-suite bathrooms crafted from wood and grey stone tiles, complemented by contemporary sinks.
Further amenities include a wine fridge, underground parking (one space), Wi-Fi, and laundry facilities. Additional parking spaces are also available outside.

The Fornet cable car is a short 5-minute walk or guests can make use of the regular bus service that will take them to the Rond Point des Pistes, Val d'Isère's main snow front with a number of piste side cafés and bars. Val d'Isère’s charming village is a colorful winter sports haven, originally founded as a farming community centuries ago. Today, the village is home to around 1,800 residents, but during winter, this number swells to more than 30,000, thanks to the influx of skiers and visitors. The western and central parts of the village are easily recognizable for their classic chalet-style architecture, while the eastern part features modern high-rise buildings.
Historically significant, Val d'Isère received parish rights in 1637, and the parish church, built in 1664, remains a landmark at the heart of the village. Together with the nearby resort of Tignes, Val d'Isère is part of the Espace Killy, an area famously dubbed the "Most Beautiful Ski Area in the World". The resort is set at the base of a V-shaped valley and is accessible via La Daille, where you’ll pass by the Lac du Chevril.
