Description

The Bungo is a family-friendly chalet with heated outdoor swimming pool in the garden. Only 15-20 minute walk from the centre of Morzine. The luxury chalet features six bedrooms, sleeping up to 14 people. The Bungo spans three beautifully designed levels, combining modern style with alpine charm. A welcoming hallway leads you to a sleek, contemporary kitchen, an open-plan dining area, and a cozy lounge. After a day on the slopes, relax on the curved sofas, perfect for warming up by the crackling fire. The interior showcases a balance of modern and alpine aesthetics, with light wooden ceilings, warm wood floors, and plush carpets underfoot.

The dining area, with its elegant table surrounded by contemporary white chairs, sets the perfect scene for gourmet dinners prepared by your private chef. Step onto a decked area in the garden, where a sunken fire pit invites you to gather under the stars. Nearby, a spacious dining terrace with two garden tables and 12 armchairs provides the ideal setting for alfresco meals, complemented by an outdoor kitchen and a barbecue area. There’s also a shaded outdoor bar, complete with bar stools, perfect for enjoying drinks after skiing. After dinner, retreat to the chalet's private cinema to watch your favourite films or shows. The Bungo delivers a truly immersive mountain experience, blending luxury, comfort, and memorable moments.

On the top floor, you’ll find four thoughtfully designed bedrooms. Two have en-suite bathrooms, while two share a spacious family bathroom. Two have panoramic vistas of Mont Chéry. Two further bedrooms en-suite are on the lower level. A sofa bed in the home cinema room can sleep an extra two people. Each bedroom is furnished with plush bedding, soft textures, and large windows that flood the spaces with natural light, creating a peaceful and inviting retreat after a day of alpine adventures.

The garden is a sun-drenched haven, perfect for both relaxation and play. Kids will be entertained for hours with a sunken trampoline, a climbing wall, and a swing set complete with a slide. For those looking to unwind, the garden also features comfortable sun loungers surrounding a heated outdoor swimming pool. The pool is flush with the grass at one end, creating a seamless transition to the surrounding deck. This leads down to a patio area where you can enjoy a soak in the hot tub.

For relaxed evenings, the lower level offers a stylish bar, a long island with banquette seating and bar stools, wall wine racks, an ice machine, and even a beer pump - making this the perfect spot for socializing and unwinding after a day on the slopes. A glass and metal staircase seamlessly connects all three levels.

The garage includes a bike storage area and an outdoor bike wash station. There is also a spacious boot room with heated boot warmers. Next to it, the private gym offers multiple machines, and free weights. There is also a kitchenette, WC, and shower. Additionally, the property offers laundry facilities and parking for four cars and a 7kW electric car charger.

Infos/Activities

Morzine is set high in the valley of the River Dranse at an altitude of 1,000m in the Northern Alps. A beautiful Alpine village, Morzine has a bustling centre and is packed with great facilities. With fabulous restaurants and bars, a weekly market, ice rink, swimming pool and ski joering - all perfect for keeping the whole family entertained.

The skiing resort Morzine can be found between Lake Leman and Mont Blanc. Part of the vast Les Portes du Soleil ski area pittoresque Morzine has kept its 11th century Savoyard look where you will find traditional wooden luxury ski chalets with slate roofs which makes you feel like you are in a real Alpine village rather than a large man-made ski resort. Previously ruled over by the Dukes of Savoie it is now part of the Haute Savoie region of France.

Most of the ski resorts in Les Portes du Soleil have grown around traditional valley villages - only Avoriaz and the very small Les Crosets and Torgon were purposely built during the mid-sixties. Morzine and Châtel are the largest of the traditional towns in the area. As a whole the skiing is relatively low in altitude compared to most French destinations.

The highest skiing is just below 2,500 metres and the lowest approximately 900 metres. However, the area is heavily influenced by the microclimate between Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc, which generates very substantial snowfall between November and April making it possible to keep the area open to skiing typically from early December until mid to late April. Some of the lower stations close around April 1 or earlier depending on snow conditions though.
