Chalet Cascades is located in the outskirts of Morzine, near the enchanting Vallée de la Manche nature reserve. The luxury chalet offers stunning views of the majestic Dranse valley and the towering Pointe de Nyon. Conveniently situated just a short distance from the Telepherique de Nyon, the nearest ski lift is less than 500 metres away, a journey that takes under a minute by car. Morzine town centre is a mere two-minute drive or an easy walk from the chalet. Chalet Cascade has been flawlessly crafted to fully embrace its stunning natural surroundings.

This family chalet is spread across three levels, covering 350m², and comfortably accommodates ten guests plus two additional guests across five sumptuous en suite bedrooms. The ground floor is entirely devoted to an impressive open-plan living area, featuring a high wooden ceiling and wooden flooring. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for a self-catered ski holiday, while the lounge, with its modern seating areas, exudes a stylish yet cosy ambiance.

A separate bar is also available, perfect for enjoying cold drinks. Each area opens onto a covered, wrap-around balcony through glass sliding doors, offering spectacular views of the valley. This is an ideal spot to relax with a hot chocolate or a glass of champagne under the starry sky. The large dining table is perfect for enjoying delicious meals while recounting the day’s adventures on the slopes. The middle floor is home to three en-suite bedrooms, each situated at the rear of the luxury chalet with private balconies overlooking the valley.

This floor also features a spacious cinema and games room, perfect for unwinding with a movie after dinner. The lower floor contains the final two en-suite bedrooms, one of which includes a twin/double bed and two additional bunk beds. Both bedrooms are positioned at the rear of the chalet, with direct access to the terrace. This floor also boasts a thoughtfully designed gym and sauna area, which leads directly to the terrace where the hot tub is located, allowing you to soak in the stunning views.

The nearest ski lift is just under 500m away which takes less than a minute by car and Morzine town is around 2 minutes by car or an easy walk. For those heading to the amazing high-altitude skiing in Avoriaz, the Prodains cable car is around 8 minutes by car. Guests can take advantage of the local bus route which stops just outside the chalet

Infos/Activities

Morzine is set high in the valley of the River Dranse at an altitude of 1,000m in the Northern Alps. A beautiful Alpine village, Morzine has a bustling centre and is packed with great facilities. With fabulous restaurants and bars, a weekly market, ice rink, swimming pool and ski joering - all perfect for keeping the whole family entertained.

The skiing resort Morzine can be found between Lake Leman and Mont Blanc. Part of the vast Les Portes du Soleil ski area pittoresque Morzine has kept its 11th century Savoyard look where you will find traditional wooden luxury ski chalets with slate roofs which makes you feel like you are in a real Alpine village rather than a large man-made ski resort. Previously ruled over by the Dukes of Savoie it is now part of the Haute Savoie region of France.

Most of the ski resorts in Les Portes du Soleil have grown around traditional valley villages - only Avoriaz and the very small Les Crosets and Torgon were purposely built during the mid-sixties. Morzine and Châtel are the largest of the traditional towns in the area. As a whole the skiing is relatively low in altitude compared to most French destinations.

The highest skiing is just below 2,500 metres and the lowest approximately 900 metres. However, the area is heavily influenced by the microclimate between Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc, which generates very substantial snowfall between November and April making it possible to keep the area open to skiing typically from early December until mid to late April. Some of the lower stations close around April 1 or earlier depending on snow conditions though.
