FireplaceDescription
Chalet Himalaya brings together 720sqm of generous living space, direct piste access and extensive private facilities in an elevated setting on Méribel’s Route des Chalets. This luxury ski chalet in Méribel accommodates 12 adults and 4 children across seven en-suite bedrooms arranged over four floors. From the garden, guests can step directly onto the Doron piste and ski towards La Chaudanne, making the transition from breakfast to the slopes wonderfully straightforward.
The main living room makes an immediate impression with its double-height ceiling, expansive glazing and central fireplace. A calm, elegant palette of warm neutral tones complements the natural timber interiors and gives the room a welcoming sense of warmth and space. After a day on the slopes, it becomes a natural gathering place for drinks by the fire or a relaxed evening with family and friends. Elsewhere, a separate sitting room with grand piano and fireplace and a library lined with floor-to-ceiling bookshelves offer quieter places to retreat. The dining room seats 16 and is complemented by a chef’s kitchen and wine cellar.
Seven en-suite bedrooms provide plenty of private space within this substantial family chalet. Four master suites are joined by two further double bedrooms and a children’s bunk room sleeping four. Several of the master suites feature dressing areas and private balconies or terraces, while the children’s room benefits from two en-suite showers. The arrangement works particularly well for multi-generational groups, giving adults and younger guests their own spaces while keeping everyone together under one roof.
The private spa is one of Chalet Himalaya’s standout features. A beautiful indoor swimming pool forms the centrepiece of the wellness area and provides a tranquil place to relax after skiing. The steam room and massage room offer further opportunities to unwind, while a gym is available for those who want to stay active. Outside, a Nordic hot tub invites guests to enjoy the mountain surroundings from the warmth of the water. A private cinema completes the leisure facilities for relaxed evenings at home.
A ski and boot room with heated boot storage, laundry facilities, indoor and outdoor parking and attentive staffing complete this impressive wellness chalet. With direct access to the Doron piste, several distinctive living areas and a wealth of facilities for both adults and children, Chalet Himalaya combines comfort, atmosphere and convenience for memorable luxury ski holidays in the French Alps.

Méribel Les Allues, normally just referred to as Méribel, is nothing less than a combination of elegance, tradition and modernity. A must: Take the Olympic chairlift and enjoy the the most beautiful panoramic views in Les Trois Vallées from the Roc de Fer peak: a 360 degree sweep over the summits of Mont Blanc, Pierra Menta, Grande Casse, Dent de Burgin, Les Ecrins, Les Aiguilles d’Arves… and a large part of Les 3 Vallées ski area!
