Description

Chalet Le Sévigné welcomes its guests in a very stylish setting. It is a 5-minute stroll from the centre of Megève and has 320sqm of space for 12 people on offer. This luxury chalet with six bedrooms is a small extravagant gem - garden, terraces, sauna, whirlpool and fantastic views included.

Access to the holiday chalet is on the ground floor, where you can easily store your ski equipment in a ski room after returning from the slopes of Megève. Two living areas with plush sofas, loosely decorated furs on armchairs and bright colours lend this Alpine chalet just the right amount of panache. Delve into a vibrant play of vivid hues with impressive paintings, works of art and unusual pieces of furniture. You can pass the time on sheep-shaped stools with a good book, or entertaining the family with board games at a table surrounded by fun designer chairs, before sitting down to dinner.

The open-plan living area with fully equipped kitchen, breakfast bar and wood-burning stove invites you to cook together with the family, chat by the warming fire in the evening or simply reminisce after a day spent in the mountains. Wooden ceilings and wood-panelled walls recall that you are in an exceptional vacation chalet in the French Alps, which masterfully marries stylish design elements with alpine charm. A large dining table with Panton chairs, decorated with plush furs, of course, is the ideal setting to enjoy home-cooked meals paired with excellent French wine. A double bedroom with bathroom is on this level as well.

Heading upstairs you are greeted by a large 30 square metre terrace with comfortable furniture, a small dining table and a covered hot tub. Relax with a hot chocolate or an aperitif under Megeve's starry sky. The first floor is also home of 2 double bedrooms with bathrooms. The remaining two en-suite bedrooms occupy the second floor. All bedrooms in the extraordinary Le Sévigné mountain chalet are cozy, yet modern, contemporarily outfitted and equipped with televisions and modern art.

The ground floor is home of a further terrace with wooden flooring, a sauna and a small accommodation for two people with a double bed and private bathroom. This independent bedroom is ideal for teenagers or those who love total privacy.

An added bonus are three parking spaces.

Infos/Activities

The Megève mountain resort is situated at 1,115m above sea level. The charming Alpine town is part of the Évasion Mont Blanc region with stunning luxury chalets for rent, catered and self-catered. Many have a swimming pool, hot tub, sauna and gym, for the very best luxury ski holidays.

With its traditional rustic atmosphere and authentic medieval architecture, it seems that Megève has always existed up there, just like the fascinating mountain scenery of smooth pastures, mystery-green forests and stunning heights all around. Megève is like a fairytale picture of old times. Narrow streets and old buildings form its enchanting medieval centre; the pedestrian zone with the horse-drawn sleighs and carriages passing only add a magical touch, almost imaginable serenity of a trip into history.

But still, the town offers infinite range of entertainment, so tourists can enjoy after returning from back-in-time. Megève at night is an experience you should not miss. 9 discos and plenty of clubs and bars create the special lively atmosphere of the nocturne town. There is a casino for those who feel "lucky tonight" and a prefect selection of various restaurants for those who prefer nice food and fine wines! In fact, Megève is known as one of the most valuable gastronomic stops of the Alps and a famous French culinary spot. During the day you could enjoy the majestic mountain landscapes from the terrace of a café, or take a traditional lunch in a cosy bistro in the medieval heart of the town.
