Chalet Ascension is an exceptional luxury chalet located in Courchevel 1650, offering ski-in, ski-out access in the Moriond area. It’s just a short ski to the nearest lift station and a mere five-minute walk from the village. With six bedrooms spread across five floors and covering 411 square metres, the chalet can accommodate up to twelve adults and two children.
The top floor welcomes guests with an impressive modern open-plan living and dining area. The space is bathed in natural light, thanks to expansive windows and high ceilings, which also offer stunning views of the surrounding mountains. A unique cocoon-shaped hanging fireplace serves as a striking focal point, perfect for gathering around on the comfortable sofas to enjoy afternoon snacks and champagne with family or friends, with plenty of seating for everyone after a day of skiing. The décor is light and bright, featuring a cream colour palette complemented by a light wooden ceiling, creating an elegant and contemporary ambiance.
The dining table provides the perfect setting for delicious meals, prepared by your private chef if you’ve booked on a catered basis. There is also a bar for pre-dinner drinks. A spacious balcony with a dining table offers the ultimate space to unwind, and on warmer days, guests can enjoy their meals outside, surrounded by breathtaking alpine scenery. After dinner, guests can head to the lower ground floor, which boasts a cinema room for movie enthusiasts, complete with a bunk bed that’s perfect for children. Please note that this room has no windows and can only accommodate a maximum of two children. A football table adds an element of fun, allowing guests to pass the time while waiting for dinner.
The other bedrooms are spread over two floors, each with its own unique charm. On the second floor, there are three stylishly designed bedrooms. Two of these rooms include en-suite bathrooms with separate showers, while the third has its own en-suite shower room. Each bedroom is decorated with distinctive lighting fixtures and exudes a modern chalet atmosphere, providing a serene retreat. The bathrooms are sleek and contemporary, featuring a combination of grey tiles, wooden elements, and elegant black fixtures.
Moving down to the first floor, you’ll find three additional double bedrooms, all with en-suite shower rooms. These rooms are carefully crafted with luxurious details, ensuring that every guest enjoys both comfort and privacy. For relaxation, the chalet’s spa awaits on the ground floor. Chalet Ascension’s spa features a large swimming pool, sauna, and massage room, ideal for swimming a few laps after a day on the slopes or loosening up your muscles in the sauna.
A well-equipped ski room with direct access to Courchevel's slopes is located on the first floor, and laundry facilities can be found on the lower ground floor.

Courchevel 1650 (Courchevel Moriond) is located in the Three Valleys. It is part of 5 Courchevel villages with a range of luxury holiday chalets. It is a fantastic ski resort for families. Moriond does not have such an exclusive and elitist atmosphere as Courchevel 1850, everything is a bit more relaxed. The centre of Moriond is located on the main road that connects Courchevel Village with Courchevel 1850. Shops, bars and restaurants are plentiful, so there's a good choice for everyone. A good bus system connects La Praz/La Tania with Courchevel. This is one of the best ski areas in the world, 600km to discover. 2 ski lifts connect Courchevel 1850 and Courchevel 1650.
You could ski or snowboard Les 3 Vallées terrain for weeks and not cover it all. "Zen Zones" or beginner improvement zones were introduced in the Courchevel Valley. The zones are located in 1850, 1650 and Le Praz and have been specifically designed for beginners and nervous skiers. The lifts are easy to access and the slopes are very well groomed and uncrowded. There are seven ski and snowboard schools in the Courchevel Valley with more than 650 instructors speaking 25 different languages. Lessons and packages are available for all ages and ability levels.
The Courchevel Valley has four ski in/ski out villages all named for their altitudes; Courchevel 1850, Courchevel 1650, Courchevel 1550 and Courchevel 1300.
The lift system of Courchevel 1650 offers good and comfortable access to the mountains. Access to Courchevel 1850 is via the main road A free bus service links all four of Courchevel's villages, giving visitors an even wider choice of restaurants, bars, cafés and shops. You can also land private planes directly at Courchevel's Altiport.
Courchevel Moriond is famous for its great slopes and good network of lifts. The beginner ski area at Courchevel 1650 is at the foot of the local pistes, while beyond are long, racy blue and green runs, very good for advanced skiers. Challenging black routes can be found in the couloirs above Courchevel 1850, while powder lovers will find plenty of backcountry in Les Avals. Skiing in Courchevel Moriond is ideal for all skiers.
