The White Chalet / Courchevel 1300

The White Chalet is a beautiful luxury holiday chalet in Courchevel Le Praz. The chalet is intimate, chic, and sophisticated, while offering world-class luxury ski accommodation to up to ten guests. A traditional exterior hides a very stylish interior with an excellent spa and some beautiful design touches in one of France’s most exclusive ski resorts. Located in Courchevel 1300, Le Praz, the White Chalet sits beautifully in a village that makes up for its relative lack of height with the most traditional, family friendly village feel. This Alpine chalet is perfect for families or groups of friends and colleagues.

The suites are luxurious and spacious, offering privacy and luxury, and all have en-suite bathrooms that match the sleeping quarters. Traditional, local wood sets the foundations, while layers of soft furnishings and faux furs pile on the comfort. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor: one twin/double with Italian shower, and one king-size double with Italian shower. On the second floor one king-size double enjoys a balcony and Italian shower, a second has an Italian shower. The master suite sits on the second floor and is a fabulously indulgent space – check out the diamante curtains – with both mountain and village views, a sensory shower, his-and-hers sinks, and double bath.

The White Chalet is more than a place to lay your head though, and guests can enjoy the room to get together or find their own space. The chalet’s 1,300m2 floor plan includes a massive open-plan living area built around a modern, three-sided, glass-fronted fire place. The glitzy, playful spirit of much of the interior décor also runs through this space, with golden rabbits and a glittering chandelier above the massive, wooden dining table. Double height ceilings let in light while a snug is the perfect place to curl up with a book or a board game.  

A cinema room on the lower ground floor is a more private space, with big sofas in front of a big screen. Elsewhere networked entertainment flows from the Wi-Fi, while Apple TV and Bose music systems with Sonos speakers are state of the art. For recharging dive into the 2.5m by 5m pool that’s at the center of the spa facility. Birch trees bring the Alpine surroundings inside, dialing up a relaxation factor that’s enhanced with clever lighting design and more natural wood. If the ambience alone doesn’t revive you, then a massage room is the place for revitalizing treatments. There are plenty of practical pluses to the White Chalet too.

The boot room is as luxurious as the rest of this mountain chalet - including a small coffee nook - and has loads of storage space and boot warmers. There’s parking on site.
