Luxury Ski Chalets Revelstoke
Nestled in the Selkirk Range, between Mt. Revelstoke National Park and Glacier National Park, Revelstoke Mountan Resort is a modern community that is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, and developing into one of British Columbia’s all season playgrounds.
Revelstoke winter sports resort is surrounded by four magnificent peaks - Mount Mackenzie, opened as Revelstoke’s new ski hill on Boxing Day of 1963, Mount Revelstoke, accessible to the top by a 24km paved road to enjoy protected Alpine landscapes perfect for summer hikes, Mount Macpherson, where Revelstoke’s first recorded heli-ski trip was photographed in 1964 and Mount Begbie, Revelstoke’s perhaps most iconic mountain - admired for impressive views and multiple sportive opportunities such as heli-skiing, hiking, mountain climbing and ski touring. These mountains are visible from every angle.
Last but not least there is Mount Revelstoke National Park, a place of contrasts. Take a drive along the Meadows in the Sky parkway through a variety of geographical zones. From dense old-growth rainforest of giant cedars and pines, travel up through Sub-Alpine forests, and finally Alpine meadows and tundra. Marvel at the spectacular view of the ice-clad peaks of the Monashee Mountains and, to the east, the Selkirk Mountains. The Giant Cedars hiking trail takes you through a stand of ancient Western Red Cedars, and the Skunk Cabbage trail introduces you to jungle-like wetland, a birds paradise.
