The Saalfelden Leogang region offers wonderful nature and historic places. Stay in one of our luxury ski chalets in Leogang. The Leogang Mountains (Leoganger Steinberge) stretch to the Pillersee Valley, located between Steinplatte, the Lofer and Leogang Mountains and the Kitzbühel Alps. Situated within the Ski Circus ski area, Leogang is suited to beginners and intermediates. The local pistes around this charming Austrian winter holiday resort offer quiet blue runs with beautiful views and lots of space to practice. For youngsters there are nursery slopes to enjoy and have fun.
The ski area is connected to the ski resorts Saalbach, Hinterglemm and Findelbach. With Kitzbühel, Salzburg and Zell am See close by, Leogang is right in the middle of one of the best ski areas in Europe. With 270 kilometres of pistes, the Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn ski domain is among the five largest skiing areas in Austria. The caves are also characteristic for the area. The most famous is Lamprechtsofen, ideal for an excursion in summer - you should not miss visiting.
And, of course, non-skiers don't miss out in Leogang either. Among the many options to pleasantly while away time even without skis are moonlight ski tours, winter hiking, horse-drawn sleigh rides and ice skating. Furthermore, Toboggan runs offer the perfect non-skiing activity and cross-country skiing is increasingly popular. With approximately 150km of groomed cross-country ski trails, Leogang is one of the top cross-country ski destinations in the Austrian Alps.
Since Leogang is a year-round holiday resort, there is also a wide range of activities on offer during the summer months with hiking and biking ranging first.
