It certainly has the romantic potential to live up to its name – not least in its stunning setting in woodland on Route de Belvedere – but this imposing 14-guest luxury chalet is much more than that, and is a must-see if you’re coming to France this winter.

With a 2017 refurb adding to its glow, the design of the luxury ski chalet Chalet Valentine matches up to its facilities. There are five floors here, all of them beautifully equipped for relaxation and enjoyment, and making the most of the natural light that comes in this setting. Enjoy North African-style steam treatments in your own person private hammam before enjoying a massage or indulgent beauty treatment in the treatment room. You can continue the indulgence on the terrace where a gigantic hot tub awaits. Warm water and the perfect snowscapes – what a mix.

With room for 14 over 420 Square meters and with seven bedrooms, including impressive master and family suites, Chalet Valentine is a luxury ski chalet that will steal your heart as surely as the beautiful village of Meribel will.

The luxury Chalet Le Grenier is also perfectly designed for big groups or family getaways. Twelve guests can enjoy the ultimate luxury experience in its six bedrooms, spread over five beautiful floors, linked by lift to save your slope-weary limbs.

A classic Alpine exterior hides a tasteful, modern exterior of the highest standard. Bedrooms – including two superb master suites – are individually styled; and there is room to relax, dine, and share time together, and to escape to your own little world. Perhaps the best place to escape to is the out-of-this-world spa room. The sunken Jacuzzi is large enough to pass for a small swimming pool, but everything about is designed to enhance the ideal relaxation experience – lighting, design, materials.

Chalet Les Brames is even bigger, with seven rooms (with seven bathrooms) for 14 guests in a 560 square meter footprint. Like Grenier, a billiard table is at the heart of its entertainment offering, but it has such a wonderful location – with Meribel’s après ski hotspots on its doorstep – that dining, drinking, and dancing out might be too tempting.

Les Brames’ designers have done their best to keep you at home though. An unusually large plot is fully exploited, including a terrace hot tub, and there’s room for your whole party to stretch out and enjoy the superb service and facilities – from satellite TV, Wi-Fi and music on tap to meeting rooms, cinema and that games room.
