Families will love the swift access to the Les Moulins piste, one of the resorts main beginners and children’s routes, but both the extensive 4 Vallées ski slopes (Switzerland’s largest ski area) and the resorts many fantastic restaurants, bars, clubs, luxury shops, and other entertainments are in easy reach from 3 Flocons.

A private garage – the chalet comes catered with a 24-hour driver – opens into a spacious ski room with boot warmers and plenty of storage. The chalet’s entrance floor also hosts a playroom fully fitted out to entertain active kids, with a TV and playhouse.

Most of the bedrooms are on the first floor. The bunkrooms – one for three, one for two – are straight out of an Alpine story. One has an en-suite shower room, the other shares a bathroom. Two en-suite double rooms, one with private shower room, complete the sleeping arrangements on this floor.

The spa and wellness facilities, including hot tub, rain shower, sauna, hammam and massage room, are extensive and complete the first floor.

Large open spaces are the theme of the living and dining areas on the second story. It is homely and comfortable, and an inviting sofa with a perfect mountain view is never far away. The kitchen is equipped with the best appliances – a chef is part of the standard service package at 3 Flocons. You can dine outside when the weather allows, and spending time on the terraces, with their splendid mountain views, is always a pleasure.

The lucky occupants of the master suite have the whole of the top floor to themselves, gazing out from a private balcony to the Petit Combin mountains. A skylight turns bathing in the enormous bathtub into a luxurious, magical starlit experience.

In town, Nevai is good for a stylish cocktail, and the Nelson has the English pub vibe down pat.
